Born in Los Angeles and a resident of Santa Barbara for the past 38 years, Michael's family has been in the Santa Barbara area for four generations...and real estate has been in his blood since the very beginning. Michael's great-grandfather was one of the first developers of Goleta. His grandmother was a real estate agent and his mother was employed in the escrow field. Michael, himself, came to real estate from a 19-year career in professional diving. "I started selling real estate between diving jobs in 1991," Michael explains. "Eventually I found myself such a successful REALTOR® that I had to give up diving and became a full time REALTOR® in 1992."

Michael is a member of the Santa Barbara Board of REALTORS®, the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.
A devoted member of the community, Michael is also a member of several civic groups. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Summer Solstice Celebration and is also very involved with Christmas Unity ( local foundation dedicated to serving the needy). Michael serves the Dalmatian Dreams organization (devoted to granting wishes to terminally ill individuals) as well as the Santa Barbara YMCA and the American Cancer Society. He also helps organize the Tri-County Blood Bank's annual blood drive.

Michael feels the honesty and a high measure of ethics is "I never accept less than my highest standards," explains Michael.
